Islam growth rate: fastest major faith (21% increase 2010-2020 due to younger population/higher fertility), now ~2.06 billion. Net followers added since 2015: Islam ~260 million (from ~1.8B in 2015); Christianity ~80-100 million (from ~2.26B). Islam has added the most net followers.

In Islam, when the Romans came to arrest Jesus, he hid among his disciples and offered them a deal: “Who will take my place, and Allah will reward him with a castle in paradise?” The Islamic Jesus bargains for his own survival. He offers paradise as currency for someone else’s suffering. He escapes and someone else dies. This fits perfectly with Muhammad’s method, castles, virgins, rivers of wine, palm trees in paradise, divine bribery, used to extract whatever Muhamed desired from his followers. The Islamic version of Jesus is repackaged in Muhammad’s image: transactional, self-preserving, power-driven.
