WVU football twitter takes are some of the more ridiculous things I’ve ever read. A kid transferring from Oklahoma to UCF is a bad look for WVU? Give me a break. Panic because players from a bad football team are leaving? Transfer targets aren’t all P4? Bad Takes = More Clicks

If you wanted WVU to act like a big boy program and be serious about football they have done that every step of the way this offseason. If you wanted WVU to continue to be a bottom feeder you do what it did for the last six years

@NiteStare It’s laughable. If you trusted the climb and we sucked, why wouldn’t you just let the guy who just wins put this program back together? I love the people upset about players going. 2005? Be upset. 2024? Get the right people to fit the new culture. Not worried. EXCITED!!

So far this offseason #WVU got tired of mediocrity - so it hired a coach with a history of winning (including conf. Championships) then dedicated extra money for assistants and then backed it up by hiring a young very good DC and paying him. And people are whining?

@TobScoot If you chose to watch the Coffee Bowl or whatever it was, what you endured was almost identical to a G5 championship game. Brown was a good G5 coach…..but he came to a B12 school and built a G5 program. WVU has some pieces, but it was like the WVU Troy Trojans….

Like come on… enough with this we can’t lose this guy or this coach needs to stay business… we aren’t good, haven’t been good… why would I want that to stay? You should be sad that we let winning when it matters go to the transfer portal for the last 6 years.
