i think some ppl need to contend with the fact that even their queer etc small business practice of outsourcing labor abroad is part of economic imperialism and is subject to moral questioning & suggestions of mitigation

OP is reasoning that because an artist sources their products from China, they MUST be working with sweatshops. While this belief once held some truth, the public perception of Chinese factories today is largely based in Western elitism and xenophobia.

the landscapes where creativity can go are so damn oppressiveโฆ. all fertile soil sucked dry by algorithms and trends.
