To Californians, you ARE the ongoing threat. The governor’s most important job is to protect Californians — that includes protecting them from ICE.

There’s too much profit, and not enough health care, in our health care system.  Our current system is unsustainable for working people and businesses. The total average family premium – the combination of employer and employee costs – now exceeds $25,000. That's an increase of 52% over the last decade.  It's time to take on corporate intestests to lower costs for working people.  These skyrocketing costs haven't made us healthier. They’ve lined the pockets of middle-men and insurance executives, whose entire business model is to deliver the least amount of care at the highest possible cost. I believe that the only way we’ll reduce health care costs, expand coverage, and make Californians healthier is through a single-payer system. As the largest and most powerful state, California can set an example for the rest of the United States to follow.

Would like to see some specifics from Steyer on what these policies look like.

Reason why I am leaning Steyer is that he says the right stuff, but he is light on policy specifics. Mahan seems better in theory but doesnt have the momentum.
