Claire, you're either blind to reality or you're lying to yourself. Yes, we all want the Britain back where services worked, communities were safe, and wages kept up with the cost of living. But you don't get to fix that by pretending migration had nothing to do with the collapse - because it absolutely did, and everyone with a shred of honesty knows it. Mass immigration drives wages down. That's basic supply and demand. When you flood the labour market with millions of people from low-wage economies, employers no longer have to compete for British workers. They can suppress wages and conditions, while politicians boast about "economic growth" that's nothing but a statistical illusion built on packing more people into a creaking island. Mass immigration drives taxes up. Public services aren't free. Housing, healthcare, schools, welfare - they all come under crushing pressure when you parachute millions of people into a country without them ever having contributed. It's simple arithmetic: more takers, fewer contributors. Mass immigration fuels inflation. You don't need a degree in economics to understand that when you massively increase demand - for houses, food, energy, transport - without matching it with supply, prices explode. Housing shortages, NHS waiting lists - these aren't "natural crises." They are direct consequences of reckless demographic overload. You want to blame "Tory austerity"? Fine. They are absolutely to blame. But don't you dare pretend the Left is innocent. It was Labour under Blair who deliberately opened the borders "to rub the Right's nose in diversity." And it's the modern progressive Left, people like you, who scream "racist" at anyone who dares question the madness, who champion "refugees welcome" while our own homeless veterans freeze on the streets, and who demand even more migration no matter how broken the system becomes. Mass migration wasn't a Tory plot or a Labour accident - it was deliberate, bipartisan betrayal. And people like you cheered it on every step of the way. You don't get to demand the Britain you helped destroy. You don't get to rewrite the past.
