First Nowgrep release will be a closed beta where I will hand out a limited number of keys. I need to do a lot of testing, bug fixing and implement more UX features before I can confidently do a full release. If you're interested in being part of the closed beta, then please contact me anywhere. Full release date is undecided but expect something Q1 2026. Existing search tools on Windows suck. Even with an SSD, it’s painfully slow. So I built a prototype of Nowgrep. It bypasses most of the slow Windows nonsense, and just parses the raw NTFS. On an SSD, this ends up faster than ripgrep, even on a cached run (Nowgrep bypasses most Software caching). Demo: Filtering 2 million and searching ~270K files under C:/ for the substring "Hello". I have many ideas to make these an even smoother experience. Let me know if this is interesting, and I might pursue it further to make a shippable product with good UX.

I’m genuinely curious: There’s a meme that I’m a “scammer”…… What do people actually think I did? Do people actually think I took people’s money without providing anything in return? Or are they aware that I actually sold an expensive course (which was a legit course), but are calling it a “scam” because they think the course was overpriced and the marketing was obnoxious? No one who has ever purchased anything from me has ever called me a scammer, so I’m still confused as to what exactly the rest of the internet thinks lol Btw I recognize that it’s my fault that there’s a lot of confusion because I haven’t been transparent about the business ventures I did with Ken Cannon

@Awieechan Loving your gemling guide, but I have a question. Have you played around with taking "Marked for Sickness" (enemies you mark take 10% increased damage)? I've heard this is technically 10% more damage, but without path of building it's hard to tell.

I really want a pair of wireless headphones that doesn’t use Bluetooth and isn’t a gaming headset. It seems like there are no really good *good* options available other than the Sennheiser RF TV headphones but I feel like those don’t have the best drivers and I’m tired of them.

After their policy change debacle, Unity tried to explain away certain suspicious behaviors on their part, while leaving others curiously unaddressed. I am considering making a video summarizing these issues, as well as data from their investor reports. Is this worth the effort?

Notably absent in this fireside chat was any explanation of why it was deleted, and by whom. All Whitten kept saying was that he didn't know about it. But obviously somebody did, because it had been consistently updated, and was then deleted!

On Unity's fireside chat livestream, @notwen just said that he "had no idea" the TOS github (which they secretly deleted quite some time ago, they reinstated today) even existed. This github was literally created in response to their last trust incident: blog.unity.com/community/upda…
