Great work by @TorchLab Post-Doc Samin Panahi! This work extends work on epilepsy quality of care I conducted in MY Post-Doc...so nice to see the family tree of science grow and improve care for Veterans😄 @MelissaM_ERP @UofUEpi @SLC_IDEAS @UofUInternalMed @vahsrd @VAResearch

Post-9/11 veterans w/#TBI are more likely to develop CVD than those without #TBI. Lets proactively address CVD in these young Veterans. @IanJStewart3 @limbic_cenc @vahsrd @TorchLab @UofUInternalMed @SLC_IDEAS @VAResearch @UofUEpi @vasaltlakecity @KatCarlsonPhD @UofUPopHealthEd

Veterans with polymorbid pain randomized to the interdisciplinary pain program reported significantly greater decreases in pain-related disability compared to veterans randomized to treatment as usual (TAU) at posttreatment, 6-and 12-month follow-up. @DonMcgeary great work!

One of our latest studies lead by @alamomanatee seeks to understand the characteristics of #caregivers caring for #Veterans with posttraumatic epilepsy researchprotocols.org/2022/1/e30975

Veterans with epilepsy and TBI history are more likely to have epilepsy not controlled by 💊…and have lower quality of life (QoL) scores on diverse QoL measures. Let’s better understand #posttraumaticepilepsy #Neurology #AANScience n.neurology.org/content/early/…
