@SheaJilll @FortniteStatus I've tried everything until I realized it was the antivirus. I honestly don't know what the connection is, but deleting the antivirus completely fixed it. If anyone else is running into this same issue, you should definitely try that.

@Totoppo_ @FortniteStatus I’ve had this same error it doesn’t mean anything just wait a day or so. I can’t remember. I believe I did freak out and redownloaded it tho😅 if it shows the error the next day just redownload like I said.

We fixed a bug and the Galaxy Demon Sprite is for real now available to drop. Good luck sprite hunting!

@Totoppo_ @FortniteStatus i just fixed mine. was a firewall issue which was weird because it never blocked fortnite before. if you have bitdefender, turn on alert mode under firewall settings & launch fortnite. click allow. it was literally that simple

@FortniteStatus Hi! It's fixed now. Changing the DNS didn't work, but I tried using a VPN and it let me into the game right away. That seemed to unfreeze everything. I turned it off, went back to my normal internet, and now the game opens perfectly fine.
