@TouchdownAiyuk @hoopsnsuplexes 51% efg isn't bad but not what i would call particularly efficient. that's what I'm saying he did really good but it's not this historic individual performance u want it to be. the team was historic collectively brunson by himself not so much, but vwry impressive still

@TouchdownAiyuk @hoopsnsuplexes hof names don't change the fact that no other fmvp ever had the rest of his team shoot so well. putting him up on this pedestal undermines their historic performance. y'all giving him all their flowers

@TouchdownAiyuk @hoopsnsuplexes ts% adds some context if u understand what it means. fts can make it seem like a bad shooter is a good one n since fts r not awarded equitably or even ethically in the nba ts% by itself doesn't fairly represent a player ability to be efficient. it's not an absolute measure

@kweiffberguhlla @hoopsnsuplexes How many teams had a Shaq? A pippen? Bosh and wade? NBA champs have good players why is Brunson the only one who has to suffer for his team playing good. Yall act like this Knicks team just the most stacked team of all time when weโ€™ve literally seen way better teams

@TouchdownAiyuk @hoopsnsuplexes i never said he didn't deserve fmvp, he was their most important player but ur missing the point that no other team has ever shot that well so it's not like any other champ at all. the gap btwn jb n his team vs most other fmvp n their team is historically smaller. his team better

@kweiffberguhlla @hoopsnsuplexes He also had 25 shots for 35 points, 25 for 36, and 27 for 45 thatโ€™s very efficient. TS is literally the stat for OVERALL efficiency fts helping it is literally the point of the stat, raw fg% is not nearly as good as showing efficiency.

@TouchdownAiyuk @hoopsnsuplexes i said they all did their parts, no one carried it was a team win. if that's ur interpretation of what ts means then u don't understand it. he shot 7-25 in another game in that series. fts boost ts%. he was taking 22 shots to make 10, that's inefficient

@kweiffberguhlla @hoopsnsuplexes 5 ast are the numbers for KAT and Hart two players you said made a difference in passing. You claimed he was inefficient his 57%ts proves that to be false. He had 45 pts in a close out game while he team had 49 His team played well(like any other NBA champ) but Brunson was better

@TouchdownAiyuk @hoopsnsuplexes what 5 ast?? 6ast w 3to is def mediocre. he gets to the line n is a known flopper but he didn't shoot well from the field, telling me his ts doesn't change that. ring is a team accomplishment. if he carried that would be one thing but all he did was score, his team did the rest

@kweiffberguhlla @hoopsnsuplexes So Brunson getting 6 assists isnโ€™t making a difference but 5 assists from his teammates is? He shot 57%ts so I guess thatโ€™s horrible. Heโ€™s being compared to harden rn so if Brunsons run is so normal harden should have a run avg 28 pts and winning the title right?

@TouchdownAiyuk @hoopsnsuplexes 6 assists w 2.7 turnovers isn't difference making from a ball dominant pg. it's mediocre at best, he initiates the offense but he wasn't making plays with his passing like that. an inefficient 28ppg for the caliber player they comparing him to is regular. esp when it's only that

@kweiffberguhlla @hoopsnsuplexes Brother he led the team in assists how was he not making a difference passing. No oneโ€™s saying his run is band for band for bron im just saying if 28 ppg is avg then that makes LeBron James and mostly ever other player an average scorer for their playoff career

@TouchdownAiyuk @hoopsnsuplexes he did have a great run but it was in no way comparable to the shit bron was doing let's be real. he excelled in his role as the scorer but his teammates also excelled in their roles. he wasn't making a difference passing defending or rebounding, that was hart, og towns, etc

@kweiffberguhlla @hoopsnsuplexes Brunson led his team in assists and scoring he was still contributing the most to his teams success. Actually go and look at players who avg 28 AND won a title. The list is literally a hof ceremony ts is not normal at all.

@TouchdownAiyuk @hoopsnsuplexes bron also leads BOTH teams in assits reb blocks n steals n is visibly the best player on both sides of the court for 7 games, see the difference?

@Jmak302 @hoopsnsuplexes Okay but 28ppg would beat most players career avg nowadays 28 pts is a lot to average no matter the era. Plus he averaged 6 assists thatโ€™s nowhere near bad

@hoopsnsuplexes 28 ppg on average efficiency is literally LeBron James playoff stats, are you now going to tell me LeBron was an average scorer for his postseason career? Did Jalen have a teammate as good as Shaq? Pippen? Kareem? To be an nba champion no shit youโ€™re going to have good teammates.

@TouchdownAiyuk 28ppg on average efficiency is regular tf?? ๐Ÿ˜ญ no other team ever had teammates shooting as well as jalen did so no you canโ€™t do the same conversation for every team they got historically hot thatโ€™s why they won a title

Isiah Thomas weighs in on the older players criticizing athletes for switching teams. He gives LeBron James props for paving the way and empowering players to take control . He also reminds people Kobe Bryant demanded a trade from the Lakers, saying, โ€˜Itโ€™s me or Shaq.โ€™โ€

@GhostAGDOPE @AllThingsBron IT literally bounced around the league on the bench after the Cavs and d wade retired why are you acting like they were contributing to winning? Once again who did the Cavs have that was good as Gasol outside LeBron. The Cavs 2nd option would be fighting to be #3 on the lakers

@GhostAGDOPE @AllThingsBron Two back to back lies. Bron didnโ€™t have anyone near gasol on his teams, 2018 was nowhere near a championship caliber roster with a washed d rose, d wade and Isiah Thomas

@TouchdownAiyuk @IrisOfTheEagle Dat donโ€™t make him da best player tho. GMs would prolly take Wemby, KD, Tatum & guys like dat early on too with da size & athleticism but dat donโ€™t mean dey better than Bron, Kobe, etc. it just mean dey got thangs dat canโ€™t be coached which is size & athleticism

@GhostAGDOPE I'm not sure I would draft either Kobe or MJ top 5, and they're still in my top 3 all time. Drafting a guy to start a franchise is much different than choosing who was the better player or who had a better career
