There’s some confusion regarding my YTD payout in my bio. It currently shows only $489, but I’ve now updated it by combining all my payouts from this year.
Now, I have a $15,000 goal before the end of May, and that is not part of those payouts. I want to prove that we can do great things if we stick to the rules even if our capital is very small.
I bought a LucidFlex 50K account for $65 and took a payout of $976. Now I’m trading a LucidDirect 150K account, and my goal is to buy two more 150k instant funded accounts with the next $3K payout.
This is a completely separate journey to prove something. Please don’t confuse the two. I won’t count these payouts until I hit the $15K milestone before the end of May.

Bonjour les PopTraders,
Une fois n’est pas coutume, je vous fais un petit bilan de cette journée du 27 mars, car oui… j’ai fini ma journée.
Comme d’habitude, la session est perdante. 😑
Avant même l’ouverture, j’ai suivi ma routine habituelle et analysé le marché. Malgré un fort mouvement baissier la veille (j’avais inscrit dans mon plan de trader dans le sens de la tendance – j’y reviendrai dans un prochain post), le prix a rebondi sur un niveau clé, cassé la VWAP Daily à la hausse, puis cassé également la SD-1D qui faisait office de résistance.
Première hésitation autour de 23 910 pour une entrée longue. Le mouvement me semblait clairement haussier, donc j’ai préféré attendre un repli.
Comme vous le voyez sur le graphique, il y avait un niveau de volume important vers 23 970. Ce niveau a tenu et j’ai décidé, cette fois-ci, de suivre mon plan à la lettre (contrairement aux jours précédents).
J'attendais un pullback vers 23 910-23 900… mais je me suis dit qu’il serait dommage de rater le départ après avoir manqué les points de hausse et de baisse précédents.
J’entre donc sur la 1ᵉ bougie haussière. Le prix me sort d’un seul point. Nouvelle bougie haussière : je place un ordre limite au-dessus des plus hauts. Il s’exécute… et le prix chute immédiatement. Fin du compte. Il me restait moins de 200 $ avant la fermeture automatique. Aucun versement, aucun retrait… encore une fois. Le prix a fini par rebondir, mais sans aller plus haut pour le moment.
La hausse pourrait bien être avortée pour revenir suivre la tendance des derniers jours.
Je retourne donc sur compte de simulation. Je doute de reprendre le trading avant le mois prochain.
Je vous le disais : je suis maudit !

People celebrating their much-touted "gains" from a bounce off the lows usually leave out the heavy losses suffered (while holding or bottom-fishing) through a stock's decline.

I'm not a fan of traders who share charts that only present a simple risk/reward calculation tool applied to a theoretical position.
These posts generally lack any other information about their actual strategy: they only offer a projected profit figure, often very attractive.
To be truly useful and educational, these analyses should include concrete elements :
1) precise entry and exit criteria,
2) the technical or fundamental reasoning behind the setup,
3) stop-loss and take-profit levels justified by the market structure,
4) the sizing of the position relative to the overall portfolio risk,
5) and the market context (timeframe, macro conditions, etc.).
Without this context, these simplified illustrations can mislead novice traders and do not contribute to a genuine understanding of trading.

Nouvelle journée, nouvelle perte… mdrr. 😂😑
J’ai parfois l’impression que la belle journée gagnante de l’autre jour n’était qu’une exception.
On me dit souvent que nous sommes tous « bénis », mais je me demande plutôt pourquoi je suis tant maudit dans ce métier.
La matinée avait pourtant bien commencé. Les entrées me semblaient correctes, le prix ne m’a pas donné raison, mais j’ai réussi à limiter les pertes. Ensuite, j’ai tenté d’attraper un retournement qui n’est jamais venu… et les pertes se sont accumulées.
Je vois beaucoup de scalpeurs sur X afficher des taux de win élevés. Parfois, j’aimerais être doué pour le scalping. Cependant, cela implique souvent de laisser traîner des ordres en perte et d’attendre qu’ils repassent au vert pour les couper. Or, je ne supporte pas de voir un trade en négatif : je coupe à mon stop-loss, voire avant. Après tout, un stop journalier à 500 $ reste relativement raisonnable.
Ce matin, le biais vendeur était pourtant clair — je l’ai vu, je le savais —, et malgré cela, je me suis obstiné à acheter. J’aimerais pouvoir être aussi obstiné sur des choses qui me profitent vraiment, plutôt que sur celles qui me coûtent cher.
Bref, je vais décortiquer cette séance, tenir mon journal comme d’habitude… et rien ne changera vraiment. Parfois, je me demande si tenir un journal est une vraie solution. Ça permet d’inscrire ses problèmes, mais ça ne les corrige pas tout seul.
Allez, bonne journée à vous tous. Et n’oubliez pas : le trading est bien plus difficile que ce que montrent ceux qui veulent vous vendre leurs formations, signaux ou « méthodes miracles ».

Many people asked me what I would do with a low-drawdown account after the last payout.
Here is my plan: I'll take a maximum $200 risk per trade, as that gives me room for 5 mistakes. Then I'll request another payout after completing the payout criteria. 4 more days to go... 🧱
