@TheHedgememe You just contradicted yourself, Zero's not a main character, he was a deuteragonist in X4 but that's about it, other games he's an unlock, hard mode or a playable character alongside Axl. X has several different armors with multiple different moves

Zero's ruining the meta and I'm for it as a Zero fan

@TheHedgememe Ahh yes the wheels and lasers of doom, even Axl has more in his base form 💀 I could see argument for MMZ Zero but that one's more anime looking, I'm just saying realistically he's the last character I'd choose due to his short comings

@Treepano Your second point is valid, but Zero would still have just enough to set himself apart with all of the various techniques he's learned in his own series.

@TheHedgememe I can tell you don't know the meaning of some of the words you're using, because you just used a term for a character who's so ugly they're cute, and the hatred is more for repetitive moves with and the fact that it takes up most of the roster

@Treepano Plus he's got those scrimblo-isms in him, again on virtue of him being a Mega Man character (of which there's only one rep). People wouldn't flame him nearly as hard as Byleth or even Pyra lmao

@TheHedgememe We've had a sword fighter from a 2D platformer get flack for being a sword fighter before, and the pass for Sephiroth was mostly due to his popularity, that's why I said Zero would be cooked realistically but didn't say anything about the other two sword fighters in there

@megagals Agreed, just brought it up because of the price of D-arts (rip) which is the most recent Vile, though Jazwares and the Gachapon FB series was the easiest to obtain for cheap

@heroicyumes Depends; Pre X1 Vile can be more of a bully to the person that caused it, while he's a lot worse post X1 as he no longer has any barrier of consequences for Violence. I usually have my sona just get more physically affectionate to assure him

@megagals Mostly because I collect Vile merch, and I also self ship with him, I'd like Vile V or Halloween to get merch some day, but X1 and Mark II's are still good too

@megagals For me it was my love for Cinnamon that made it a little harder, I also love Marino and Ferham but the mental image of Cinnamon and how she destroys people after she gets the kitten claws always sticks with me. In terms of male characters I'm always hoping for Vile
