@DoesItPlay1 I know I've bought FAR fewer games on Switch 2 versus Switch 1 in the same launch period. Soon as I hear GKC, I immediately put the game out of my brain and move on. Nintendo's own numbers show the software tie ratio to hardware is WAY lower than Switch 1 so far.

This is indeed an interesting thought. How much revenue did companies lose to their competition or other hobbies because of choices like this? Similar thing with the online activation for Xbox or modern PS5 consoles. Better margins is one thing, but there are enthusiasts who will skip a platform or game entirely in such a case. In times in which the industry is desperate for money, you'd think they'd do everything they can to make some.
