And it really doesn’t take time to level either you just doing it wrong. Start level 30 character farm bounties for couple hours done or get a save

And for people like us talking about the game online of course there's no challenge ,but to act like the casuals are farming that much and 1 shotting things is disingenuous at best

Been saying this. People think PVE means anything goes. Not if you want to keep players playing. If they never nerfed the Bee and CC or the Evil Smasher glitch on BL2 that game would have died after the final dlc. Players would have left because there was no challenge. Now BL4 has no challenge and the player base is MIA

@BillCaulfield @Ki11ersix This has always been a borderlands problem aswell I don’t see them fixing it honestly. Borderlands 3 they just added a fourth tree instead of fixing the problem lol

@Ki11ersix Also add that three of the VHs have a severely underpowered tree/skill that have received zero MEANINGFUL buffs.

@Ngriner14 @Ki11ersix Borderlands has never been about difficulty the community almost all use modded weapons class mods etc. I agree borderlands is just boring plain and simple

@Ki11ersix While you’re right, I don’t think players are MIA because of challenge. I think BL4 just isn’t a good game and players have moved on to other stuff at this point. Whether Gearbox want to admit or not, BL4 is a live service game and in that space there are so many better options

@LandL0rd03 @Ki11ersix True you get random legendaries drops from normal enemies just blowing the entire game up with ease. Still infinitely more fun the borderlands 4 almost like no one cares about difficulty in borderlands and just the guns world and story

@Ki11ersix Bl3 was easy as fuck and still it had longevity. Because it was simply fun as fuck too.

@synthwavepen @Ki11ersix Open world definitely hurting b4 idk who even asked for the game to be like this. It made getting anywhere worse and the cars are worst version ever on top of that

@Ki11ersix I don’t think it’s due to lack of challenge. I think many more casual players bounce off because it feels kind of “sloggish” BL2 I can zip through a character and basically be carried by constant kills and excitement. BL4 it’s cut up by massive slog travel in the open world

@deluxebows @Ki11ersix I disagree with the vault hunters but the weapons are the most boring in borderlands history not even close. I would prefer a weak gun with a unique engaging mechanic then the copy paste bs in borderlands 4

@Ki11ersix Dont mind being strong if we had something to do. Also this time around most guns do feel like shit ngl. I dont think the vault hunters are anywhere near as strong as they were in bl3 they def aren't as fun imo.

@F8ED_Media @Ki11ersix You don’t have to no life borderlands to 1 shot everything. You get the bod and a decent build you already won the entire game. Seems like a skill issue because there’s not a single challenge in b4 not even the terrible design uvhm missions

@Ki11ersix This isnt a live service game like D2, there aren't seasonal resets like Diablo, and there are plenty of people who still find challenge in the game. If you no life the game or play it for a living of course there's no challenge left and that goes for any game.

@Ki11ersix I replay borderlands 2 sometimes and Borderlands 2 was better before nerfs meaning fun. I think borderlands 4 weapons suck, the guns are boring, harlowe needs nerf, farming drills sites boring, open world blows imo, they removed car parts system and cars only 1 seatand steer bad

New Raid Boss in #Borderlands4 Pros: - map and cutscene are great. - Intro by Claptrap is nice and gives a good intro to raids. Not sure about the loot yet, need to test the items out. Class mods seem to be some of the best in the game. Cons: - TWO immune phases. - Platforming is a bit more than I’d care for - loot chests sometimes spawn empty - knock back is wild Did not enjoy it, but I’ll go in fresh tomorrow and try again

@Ki11ersix @GearboxOfficial They already did this with vermi idk the full spelling of the varkids name. But the fight in bl3 was pretty lame gotta be honest so if they bring them back atleast make them more enjoyable

See @GearboxOfficial you can bring back Terramorphous, Hyperius, Pyro Pete, Wotan and more. Diablo brings back bosses across multiple games and it's friggin great.

@MoxsyOG Borderlands 4 gameplay is amazing probably best of all the games. But the more I play the end game and farm for OP builds the more the game feels like wonderlands with near impossible to obtain gear. Hopefully they fix it soon or game is kinda dead to me and it’s my favorite game

Gonna be honest I don’t know if buffing drops rates is really the solution here. The thing is the drop rates feel entirely different depending on what you are farming. For example I farmed the hellwalker for a perfect “godroll” for about an hour and half before I got the exact roll I was looking for but that’s because the hellwalker has very little part variance. It doesn’t drop with licenses parts so there are very few permutations of the hellwalker. So there the drop rates felt great. However I’ve spent days farming for a godrolll Bod and haven’t even come close even tho I got a phosphene bod. The bod has soo much part variance that setting it and the hellwalker to the same drop rate values would lead to wildly different experiences. Part of the reason loot lost the special feeling in bl3 was farming for anointments and cause there were dozens of anointments you would see sooo many of the same legendary before you got “the one”. So what’s the solution? In my opinion Gearbox could keep the drop rates as they are IF they allow for deterministic farming. There is already built in challenges with manufacturers that to get certain kills with their weapons and they reward you with cosmetics and vehicle drives. What if they rewarded you at the final tier with part booster that when equipped would give you an extra 30% chance when a weapon drops that it drops with one of that manufacturers license parts. Or maybe it’s a booster you can insert into a silo and then all bosses in that region for 4 hours have a 40% increase to drop rates of weapons with that manufactures license parts. This could even effect the drop rates of enhancements giving you a more deterministic farm for legendary enhancement from that manufacturer. There’s a bazillion ways to implement something like this. Division 2 did it with rotating zones that had more gear drop from one company . The big thing something like deterministic farming gives over just simply buffing drop rates is it means farming the “the one” is more probable without having to see the drop 100+ times. Yes a buff to drop rates would be great but so many legendaries are so different to farm that maybe there are other options to make farming feel better.

@genjirrr @Joltzdude139 I tried to use a different rep kit and ordnance both showed no items when my inventory was full of them. Definitely need to focus on important bugs and quality of life fixes before this stuff
