Started my Stocks & Shares ISA. £12,000 → £12,752 in ~1 month. +£752 (+10.7%) Good start but this isn’t about one month. It’s about what this becomes in 10–20 years. Documenting everything from here.

I’ve switched to investing £17 a day instead of £500/month. Why? Because building wealth is more about consistency than motivation. £17/day feels manageable. Less temptation to skip. Less stress watching money leave at once. And over 20 years, small daily investments compounded could completely change my future financially. Quiet consistency > chasing quick money.

The UK has normalised: £800 car finance £7 coffees £100 nights out and Klarna for clothes …but investing £200 a month is somehow “risky”. That mindset is the real financial crisis.

@robprogressive Financial education should be taught in schools as seriously as maths and English. Too many people enter adulthood knowing how to pass exams… but not how taxes, debt, investing or pensions work.

Every £100 invested is basically buying a tiny employee that works for you 24/7. The goal is to hire enough of them so you can eventually stop working so hard yourself.

Quick question for UK investors. Are you saving for a house deposit AND investing at the same time? Or did you pause investing to focus on the deposit? Genuinely curious how people are balancing this. 🇬🇧

If you invested £250/month from age 20 to 30 and then stopped… you’d likely end up with more money at retirement than someone who started at 30 and invested for 30 years. Time in the market really is everything.
