A Heat Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for Fremont and most other areas near the San Francisco Bay shoreline from Tuesday, July 2 at 11:00 am until Saturday, July 6 at 8:00 pm. The Bay Area Air Quality Management District has issued a Spare the Air Alert through Wednesday, July 3, for the San Francisco Bay Area: sparetheair.org. We’d also like to encourage everyone to check in on neighbors, especially home-bound elderly and vulnerable populations in Fremont and remind pet owners to take extra precautions to ensure the well-being of their furry companions.
