A special highlight of the night was community storyteller Sunny Dooley, who shared stories and spoke to the power of literacy in personal and cultural growth. This event was held in partnership with USBE, the Clark and Christine Ivory Foundation, and Ken Garff for Good.

Families from San Juan County came together on February 11, at Tse'Bii'Nidzisgai Elementary for a Regional Literacy Night centered on Empowering Families and Strengthening Literacy. Parents left with practical tips and take-home ideas while children enjoyed literacy activities.

USBE kicked off its first Regional Literacy Events with Iron County! On Feb. 12, families gathered at North Elementary for a Regional Literacy Night focused on Empowering Families and Strengthening Literacy. The evening had fun activities, tips for supporting reading at home.
