Reporter: What do you make of Republicans saying that Virginiaโ€” AOC: Wah wah wah. We have asked Republicans for 10 years to ban partisan gerrymandering. And for 10 years, Republicans have said no. Republicans have fought for partisan gerrymanders across the United States of America. And these are the rules that they have set. And so if the Republican Party wanted to start this, they did this in North Carolina. They drew out three Democratic members of Congress in North Carolina. They did it in Texas. What theyโ€™re just mad at is that they have been accustomed to a Democratic Party that rolls over, doesnโ€™t fight, and takes everything sitting down. And what theyโ€™re mad at right now is that we are here in a new day. And we have been asking the Democratic Party to stand up and fight, and now they didโ€”and now the Republican Party doesnโ€™t like the fact that they are fighting against someone who actually will stand up for the American people. So if Republicans decide that they would like to revisit a ban on partisan gerrymandering, I welcome them. We have the bill right here to end this all today. But they donโ€™t want to, because they like pursuing and continuing to enact an unfair electoral landscape. And so we have an obligation to defend ourselves.

@royermattw A misleading ballot question, $65,000,000 in dark money, every democrat they could scrape up and still you only won by 2 percent in the middle of the night by mail in votes in Fairfax. Good job

@cjgproduxions Texas is a ruby red state. Except for the metros. Thats a proper representation. 6-5 was proper for a purple state like VA. But gotta cheat. So now FLA and Louisiana will gain what was lost and yall will be mad again.

Thank you McDonalds for hiring those facing federal job losses. Every family deserves to earn a living and thatโ€™s why we raised our minimum wage in Virginia to $15 an hour.

5 years ago, Democrats introduced a bill to ban gerrymandering in every state nationwide. Every single Republican voted against it.

When Dems take back the House, the first bill they should vote on is a national ban on partisan redistricting Not a full voting rights expansion bill Just this as a standalone Letโ€™s see if their outrage tonight is about the integrity of democracy or just about being outgunned

@UrFavFuzzy @harryjsisson Not really. But you liberals only care about illegals and trans grooming. That still has shelf life. Good luck with that nonsense.

The numbers coming out of Virginia are looking REALLY good for Democrats. NYT is currently estimating that the redistricting will pass by 3.5 points. Nothing certain yet, but Trumpโ€™s worst nightmare is looking likely.

I'll be blunt. The worst thing isn't losing my voice in politics. The worst thing is that my own neighbors did it, and they don't give a fuck. I generally thought there were more good Virginians than bad. Apparently its almost exactly 50/50.
