Veterans Memorial teachers v. students competition was a huge success today. Thank you to all the students who read during our Resolution Reading Challenge to read over 4,500 books/chapters. The students won in the end!

Together we raised $1,494.23 for the Giving Tree and PTO during our Coin War- and these five teachers got pied for having the highest totals in their jars!

Veterans Memorial K-2 students enjoyed hearing from Sherri Duskey Rinker, author of Goodnight Goodnight Construction Site and 42 other children's books today. Sherri shared why she became an author and her love of writing books for her children.
