@BRAP_Podcast I think the concern is what it means for the next generation of consoles. The base PS5 was extremely expensive, and it hasn't come down in price like the last generations. If this sells at $700 we should expect the same for the PS6.

This is really simple. If you believe the costs of the PS5 Pro is too expensive. It means that you are not the target consumer and it is not for you. Just as the 4080/4090 GPUs are not for me. Or the LG OLED G4 TVs. A segment of consumers exists that want enthusiast/luxury items.

The PS5 Pro launches on November 7 for $699.99. We have yet to find out at what exact level it enhances the PSVR2 gaming experience.

I'm just getting started in this game on Quest but so far Shogun's Empire is a great VR turn based strategy game with battles and economic and political strategy. Just released by the same devs as the Warplanes games. Had to share it because I thought it was really cool.

Every location in Vuntra City now has an address. They're generated at runtime for areas that load, but can also be requested for a remote location. Which means all the notes around the city now actually mention a place that can be visited! #gamedev #indiegame #unrealengine

@DrMSnap @SwweetPosting Everyone feels a bit of sickness at first, so for the first week you just play in small bite size chunks then you develop your vr legs after. But vr is pretty cheap now, a standalone quest 2 is only around £100 second hand at this point.

@SwweetPosting I’d be way more willing to try it if headsets were cheaper. I’ve never tried VR and I have no idea how my body would respond to it, so I don’t really want to risk the investment.
