Tbh I’ve always tried to be everyone’s friend. I wanted to be loved by everyone. Really quite sad to learn that’s just not possible when your following/ mindshare grows beyond a certain point. You have to take risks to win, which means sometimes I’ll fail, and people will get mad at me, but that’s the price I pay. I accept that, because the reward of the victories makes it all worthwhile. Just means ima feel sad sometimes.

one of the main reasons the "trenches" aren't getting insane runners anymore is because whales aren't willing to blast money into new coins why would I want to buy a 5 figure bag of a new memecoin and risk getting PVP'd when I know it happens on every coin now? I'd rather just trade perps and hold majors than be early to a great narrative coin and then it gets PVP'd and the PVP coin "wins" and then I get cooked back when we had crazy runners, there was one coin that everyone bought into now everyone is worried about getting vamped so they just stopped trying to guess which one is the "right one" and instead they don't bid at all

I've now been streaming consistently for a week I'll be streaming indefinitely going forward. I've found a groove I like, + I genuinely love having useful conversations in front of an audience. The streams have been on Pump Fun & X and I have some opinions: - the Creator Rewards are pretty decent -- most fresh streamers can't expect $600 week 1. - launching a token really isn't that bad! - Pump as a platform to watch streams on is quite good - streaming generally appears to be picking up major traction in crypto. lots of creators are taking this route. probably a trend but I do think a handful will succeed bigly off this trend (I aim to be one of the successes). some negatives, > the pump moderation is very aggressive but largely because it's necessary. the pump audience is pretty damn aggressive. > there is now the added overhang of a related token > metrics and tracking around the pump stream is hard > difficult to manage two major audiences (pump & x), esp when x has most immediate return for the stream imo I also have to compare this model and experience to that of Abstract. - I enjoy abstract streams and I also like the familiar tipping model - I also am running a somewhat produced stream, which I figure probably fits culturally better within Abs, but still tbd. - However, still a much smaller pool of streamers on Pump so I personally consider this to be an opportunity that's been worth exploring. I sold more than 2 years of work in 10 days.
