I LOVE THIS!! A waaayy more positive outlook than assuming that someone is being disloyal or "ditched" our stream when they most likely are busy with life, maybe made more gamer friends or IRL friends, focusing more on touching grass than online drama, etc etc there are SO MANY reasons and it's a waste of our mental space to create drama out of people not hanging around anymore! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@CainStoned I've always checked in. It's in my nature to do so. I feel worse about things when I don't. I'll always communicate until I feel things are off then that's when I go into protective mode.

@VextraG6 You have to care, check in, understand when they might be hurting and most of all communicate. Ask why. You sitting there wondering, doubting, asking without communicating those questions just hurts you

3 years ago, my gamer best friend cut me out of his life because he felt my response to his situation was lacking care. He was completely wrong. I cared to the point where I looked into the situation because I looked out for him but it was already too late. He cut me out. It felt like a death because I was mourning a 4 year friendship to someone I cared about and loved. Now I find myself cutting out people when I feel things start to feel off or when I feel they're not there for me. I end things before they get a chance to hurt me even tho deep down I don't want to. It's a protective/defensive mechanism that my ex best friend had and I'm doing the very thing to others that he did to me. Anyone else have this attachment avoidant style where you push people away? How do you deal with it?

It can definitely be a cringe fest from both parties. They are just seeking attention. One seeks acknowledgement and as sense of need/love while the other one seeks a payment. I get streaming is a "job" for some and they have to "play" the role but pretending to be interested because it pays the bills is pretty messed up imo.

To whoever needs to hear this. That streamer doesn’t like YOU, they like your wallet 🗣️🗣️🗣️ Please. Stop. Using. Streaming sites. As. A. Dating. App. And streamers. Stop pretending to be interested in someone romantically to use them. It’s disturbed.

I saw this not too long ago from the wonderful James Van Der Beek and I found this to be brilliant and it made so much sense. Spring is the perfect time for a new resolution. Hibernation is officially over. Everything has opened up. Birds are out chirping earth’s songs. The wildflowers are in full bloom. Spring is officially here so why not spring into action and focus on goals and positive mindset on the first day of spring? I think we really need to align ourselves with the earth’s vernal equinox a lot more and be in tune with our natural seasonal circadian rhythm. It's the first day of spring! Spring is a reminder of how beautiful change can be and that life is about to get warmer. So your new year's resolution starts now! Streamers, stop stressing over wanting to please everyone. You can't. It's not your job. Your job is to provide content that attracts the right audience for you! Those who connect with you and genuinely enjoy you won't ever put you in a position to give them what they want because what you give them, will always be enough!

Losing my little sister, my first best friend in life, has been a pain I never thought I'd feel. I have been in denial for 365 days unable to fully make sense that she's gone gone and not coming back. It still feels like a dream where I'm waiting to wake up to a text from her, or it feels like a movie waiting for the scene where I open the door and she's there. But real life plays a whole lot differently. It's a hard realization that no matter how hard you close your eyes and wish for something, it's not going to come true. I cannot wrap my head around how fast a year has come and gone, but in these last 365 days, I learned a lot about grief; the ways it can affect you and how suffocating it can be. But I also learned how it shapes you; how you bend in ways that allows you to deal with certain things. My sister may be gone gone, but she showed up for me in so many ways just like she had when she was alive. The signs she gave me were as real as if she were standing right in front of me. And maybe that's what I need to do...to open the door to the fact that she's very much alive but just in a different way...and for me, it's all I need to keep going. Thank you to the friends who have been by me and have been patient with my absences from streaming. Your love and support has truly helped us get through a difficult year. I love you all so very much. 🌹🪽
