OKAY FOLKS
GW9 deadline is only a few hours away. Here are some last minute tips -
1. Listen to everyone but trust your own instinct
2. Start Gabriel (if he doesn't start, he won't come on anyway)
3. Manchester United are a good buy
4. This should be Joao Pedro's GW
@fpl_phenom@OfficialFPL last q sorry - richarlison and xavi in my team too. who would you prio to get rid of? i want to swap one of them to a newcastle player.
I really like this dead 4.5M ST + anti-Watkins #FPL draft. That midfield looks absolutely insane though the bench depth may be lacking.
Just pretend like Hurzeler isn’t going to screw you over with Brighton assets and it’ll all be okay…
Villa might genuinely be the team that have cost me the most this season.
Every time I’ve invested and started their players it’s gone horrendously, and whenever I bench them or sell them they go nuclear.
I’ve timed their assets terribly.
Some random gem stats from @FFScout:
- Jarrod Bowen (£7.6m) continues to tick along, having served up four goals and four assists in 11 appearances since returning from injury. Only four FPL midfielders have had more shots in the box (20) than Bowen during that run.
- There’ll be plenty of shouts for at least one Brentford attacker too, with Bryan Mbeumo (£8.1m) and Yoane Wissa (£6.6m) the obvious frontrunners. The Bees pair are on 18 and 15 goals respectively this season, and, across the campaign, have the fifth and sixth best rates of expected goal involvement (xGI).
- Omar Marmoush (£7.6m) - FPL’s joint-top scoring forward since Gameweek 25
- De Bruyne is fifth among midfielders for shots (11) and sixth for chances created (10) over his last four matches
- Despite limited minutes, Watkins has plundered three goals and one assist across his last six league appearances. His home form this season offers further encouragement.
Across 15 starts and a couple of substitute appearances, Watkins has racked up nine goals and four assists, averaging 6.3 points per home start. He’s performed very well against Marco Silva’s side in recent times, with four goals and 27 points across their previous three meetings.
- Newcastle United’s opponents, Brighton and Hove Albion, have conceded at least two goals in each of their last six matches
- In their last five home games, NEW have plundered 18 goals at an average of 4.5 goals per game
- Isak clocked 1 xGI in the reverse fixture against BHA this season. No forward has been afforded more big chances than Isak (nine) over the last six Gameweeks and, with the Magpies ranked second for non-penalty expected goals (NPxP, 11.31) over that period
My current thinking regarding gw32 captaincy.
-Isak will be near 200%EO so going against could destroy my rank
-scared of his minutes so probs wont TC and hope for a dgw36
-Goes against my plan of chasing rank but every other week will be differential captaincy (probably)

@VishFPL Probably the logical thing is downgrading foden to savinho, foden has high upside but is a risky luxury pick. I’d go down to savinho and then see if you can use the extra budget elsewhere
348 🌍 Wildcard ACTIVE 🚨
Planned on wc31 but Haaland injury confirmation made me want foden and only way was to go tonight and miss the price rises.
Murphy and isak will go to watkins and rogers in gw33 for the double.
Thoughts on my team?
