We had a brilliant time at Wells City Carnival last weekend. The floats were excellent, and the hard work was evident for all to see!

Wells City Carnival is returning on Fri 18th Nov at 7pm!
The highly anticipated Carnival will be lighting up the streets of Wells in magnificent fashion as brightly decorated carnival floats, marching bands & musicians parade the City.

The starling murmurations are absolutely stunning and a real joy to watch this time of year.
You can see the murmurations in their full splendour from the Somerset Levels, as their formations spread across the vast skyline.

We've been busy enjoying the outdoors this week (even if it's been a bit grey & cold!) and getting on walks and exploring the local area.

Chew Valley Lake is a reservoir just 10 miles from Wells. It offers stunning views and the chance to see over 260 species of birds. It’s perfect for day out walking and exploring, and we’d recommend visiting if you’re staying in Wells!
