5 Things I learnt on my journey from 0 to 930k Subscribers on YouTube... 🧵👇 1/ CTR is Overrated and Misunderstood 🎯 CTR is NOT a good indicator of video performance... The more the video gets pushed in the "algorithm" the lower it gets. My most popular videos have the lowest CTRs for this reason. Focus on the view count until you have 6 figure datasets to work with. 2/ The Audience IS the Algorithm 💻 One of the biggest reasons small creators stay small is because they see the algorithm as some random and emotional beast that makes or breaks careers... In reality... its in YouTube's best interests to show viewers what they want and it does a very good job at this... Creators should replace the word "algorithm" with "audience" when discussing it. 3/ The Biggest Risk Is Taking No Risk At All ⚠️ Playing it safe won't get you far... Experiment, take bold steps and learn from failures. The path to success is paved with calculated risks. 4/ Be Obsessed 🤓 I am friends with a lot of your favourite creators... The thing we ALL have in common is that we are OBSESSED with YouTube. Stay hungry, stay focused. 5/ There's Enough Views For Everyone 💰 Don't fear competition... 122m people use YouTube every day... There IS enough views to go around. Adopt an abundance mindset! Follow if you like this type of X content! ❤️
