Just a missing fraction in the fight. He reappeared inside Vegeta’s recovery angle, close enough to feel the heat rolling from the Prince’s aura, and drove a short, precise counter toward his ribs — compact, brutal, and placed with the calm accuracy of someone who had been studying every motion since the first blast left Vegeta’s hand. Saiyan pride came roaring in. Zenaku answered with silence. And precision.

He was reading the attack behind them— Vegeta. The spin kick came exactly where the pressure wanted him to look too late. Zenaku’s forearm rose at the last instant. THOOM—! The impact cracked through the air, dragging his boots back across the ground as the prince’s force bit through his guard. His jaw set. His aura flared hard for half a second, violent and bright, before compressing back around him like a blade pulled tight against its sheath. Still, he said nothing and shifted his stance. ————

SAIYAN BLOOD DOESN’T FLINCH 👑🫯

Focused. Locked in. “If you’re pushing it further…” His golden aura snapped violently around him. “Then I’ll stop answering in base.” Now Super Saiyan Zenaku stood across from the Prince, his stance lowering again as the wind bent around both Saiyans. “Come on, Vegeta.” His fists tightened. “Show me what that pride really does under pressure.” Because once those glasses come off… Zenaku isn’t looking at his opponent anymore. He’s looking through them.

“No.” His eyes narrowed. “Just measuring the gap.” Soon, the air around him changed. A sharp pressure rolled outward as gold energy began to rise from his body, first as a flicker, then as a roaring aura. His dark curls lifted and sharpened, shifting into a Super Saiyan silhouette as the ground trembled beneath his boots. Zenaku’s expression stayed cold. ————

The smallest opening between Vegeta’s strength and his recovery. And once he found it— Zenaku’s foot slid across the dirt, his body angling just outside the next strike as his hand came up near Vegeta’s guard. “Let’s see how clean that defense stays when the target stops moving where you expect.”

One punch skimmed past his shoulder. Another slammed into his guard. A third was redirected just enough for Zenaku to twist inside Vegeta’s range, his elbow snapping toward the Prince’s ribs with controlled force. This wasn’t a final blow — simply a message. “You’re right. Adaptability does go both ways.” The Broken Saiyan then shifted his weight and drove forward again; utilizing Vegeta’s own aggressive momentum against him. But he wasn’t matching with him blow for blow. At least, not yet… Now was just the timing he needed to search between those transitions. Attack. Defense. Counter. Advance. ————
