For years the feds failed to fulfill their promise of canceling debt for borrowers working in public service. We're glad to see this change, and look forward to a day where no one is forced to take on a lifetime of debt in the first place.

BREAKING: my bill to boost FAFSA completion (financial aid forms, how Wash. students get $) just passed Wash. House Appropriations UNANIMOUSLY.
Wash. is always #49 of 50 states in FAFSA completion rates (!!), so families don’t get all the $ they could. That’s about to change!!
