@imthatvalentine There is definitely some overlap. They’re both strongman leaders. However, Modi's agenda is rooted in Hindu Nationalism, whereas Trump doesn’t have a religious agenda, per se.
@PolPredictionX Egypt and Jordan face worsening crises, with protests simmering and regional wars risking instability. I see once again, power struggles that probably lead to more military-like governments that are hopefully more responsive to the people, but might not be.
@JuddLegum Delcy Rodríguez still leads the state despite Maduro’s 2025 abduction. With oil infrastructure in ruins and Maria Machado pushing for elections, Trump’s profit-grabbing faces major risks. Otherwise, I think you have a lot of risks.
@MurtCrypto@unusual_whales Trump’s pursuit of Greenland for resources or territory faces a wall. Since neither the 50,000 Greenlanders nor Denmark will sell, diplomacy has failed despite Don Jr.’s efforts. If you want the land, you're going to have to take it.
@DixieBushWookie Putin’s 2025 Alaska summit with Trump has strained Western unity. As the war hits year five, he uses the “strongman” model to discredit democracy and isolate Ukraine. I don’t believe that, but it gives Putin the sense that the strongman system is ascendant.
@RossKneeDeep Putin justifies his actions through security grievances over NATO's 2008 expansion and a "Great Russia" historical vision. A huge majority of the Ukrainian people obviously reject that view, but I think it's those two forces coming together.
@tulobh Xi faces a 2027 military window and a 2028 Taiwan election that could spark conflict. With the chip supply at risk, a blockade or invasion would dwarf the Ukraine crisis. We could see an economic disruption that is far greater than anything from the war in Ukraine.
@DireReport@Mike_Pence Sanctions on Russia and Cuba since the 1960s haven't changed behavior; they’ve only hurt civilians. Obama tried normalization. Trump's pressure just empowers black markets. We end up empowering the people inside the countries that we're actually trying to undercut with sanctions.
@ninzaverse The AI race isn't about AGI; it's about global dominance. If the world runs on Chinese tech, they gain massive leverage. China is in the lead on that because they are developing AI technologies that are highly relevant to developing countries.
@Sean17Henley Global conflicts in Europe, the Middle East, and potentially Taiwan mirror WWII. With leaders like Trump, Putin, and Xi ignoring global rules, I think we are living with way too much risk of the potential for another world war.
@wolede_ Surrogacy can cost $150k–$300k. It includes agency fees, surrogate compensation, medical care, IVF, legal work, travel etc. Families are given detailed cost breakdowns so they know exactly how much it's predicted to cost from the beginning because actually it is very predictable.
@niakatza@MrAndyNgo Surrogates are usually stable adults with families, jobs, and support systems, not people recruited for money. They’re coming to find us. They require financial stability so compensation isn’t their livelihood. The process is long and demanding. Two years. Could be longer.
Democrat lawmakers in California are pushing forward a bill that would define gay men's inability to have children as an infertility issue that needs to be covered by health insurance through expensive surrogacy services. thepostmillennial.com/california-mov…
@mercifulkindnes@reddit_lies Surrogacy means a third party helps intended parents have a child, and the surrogate is the person who carries that baby. IVF is the lab process used to create embryos from egg and sperm before transfer. Anytime the parents need help, a gestational carrier can step in and help.
@my_guy_Phil Migraines are more commonly diagnosed in women, likely tied to estrogen/progesterone fluctuations. Taking something like an oral contraceptive or HRT to normalize and keep the hormones at more stable levels rather than a rollercoaster can help with migraine treatment.
@ms___dale “Mommy brain” can happen as postpartum hormones shift. Support recovery with sleep, sunlight, rest, and brain-friendly nutrition while hormones normalize. If you do these things to kind of support your brain through this process, you're going to have much less symptoms.
@JoeLarry1594684@iluminatibot Women’s anatomy makes it easier for bacteria to reach the urethra, and menopause-related estrogen loss increases UTI risk. Local estrogen is often recommended to prevent recurrent UTIs. This is a great way to prevent UTIs and has had a lot of new research coming out around it.
@amaku_pretney Fibroids are common benign growths of uterine smooth muscle/connective tissue (that can happen as women age). They can get large and require removal. But if they're not that large, they can just live there and it doesn't cause any issues at all.
What exactly is the cause of fibroids, please?
What I saw is the size of twins if I am being honest. Jesus!
You'd think someone is 8 months pregnant only to find out it's a fibroid?! Lord have mercy!!!!!!!!
@nootgeiszler Workplaces should accommodate cycle variability. Lighten the late-luteal week, and use mid-cycle days (12–18) for demanding work. If we take that into account people will be more productive and happier in their jobs.
