I know a couple that 1 partner was very ill for around 5 years , they are both back at work now and are worse off . They'd get 2.4k a month , 1 child , £800 rent included in that and they lived in social housing , then £190 a month council tax , free prescriptions , free dentist , free eye tests and lenses . Until recently £100 or £50 shopping vouchers up to 3 times a year . Then the wife also got PiP standard and mobility just over £500 every 4 weeks . Looking at 37.5k a year . Free car tax for her car . Free parking with her blue badge . Free school meals . So yes 47k a year is possible with 3 kids ,

What I don’t get is if all these different supermarkets can sell Leg of Lamb, Beef, Pork & Gammon for 1/2 price at Easter & Xmas then why can’t they sell at this price all year round because they are obviously not selling at a loss or they wouldn’t be doing it.
