They weren't focused on because they'd rather use consistent, hard-defined stats than speculative high-ends, and with equal leeway Cell would be similarly fast anyway.

'This is pety'. No, G1/DEATH BATTLE are kinda hip-to-hip when it comes to research approach, they have done SO much for me and other scalers. But this clip here sums it up for me: Powerscaling as a hobby ain't really a 'for casuals thing' (this question is cringe tho)

There's a ton of 2D vector based alternatives such as Krita, Moho, and Tahoma, but there is no good alternative for pixel art. Aesprite barely functions for canvas and composition-based videos. Sprite animation is dying I fear. Any of these companies can land on a gold mine rn

@JumpNJetz How important is Animate to the general creation of sprite animations? Is there anything specific it does better than other programs? I know this won't impact existing animators AS much, but this makes me think how getting into the sphere as a newcomer might be in the future.

making a superman game is a lose-lose situation. make him lore-accurate, zero challenge and the gameplay gets boring in hours. nerf him so enemies actually pose a threat? then it “doesn't feel like superman” anymore and everyone hates it.
