Weiss Elementary students are LOVING new books from an STCS Foundation grant. Teachers shared with the 3rd grade students what it meant to receive a grant and how that helps with the purchase of new books. The students decided to write "thank you" notes to the STCS Foundation.

Current Heritage High School student Lila LaDrig returned to Arrowwood Elementary to share her passion for ice hockey with students in Mrs. Selk’s and Mrs. Muylle’s classes! From student to teacher for the day, Lila inspired the next generation, and learning got a little cooler!

Our Superintendent and Finance team stopped by Center Courts to share information about the upcoming bond proposal with local pickleball players… and in return, got a quick lesson on the court! Learning, listening, and maybe working on that backhand...

The 2026 Heritage High School Yearbook staff has created another award-winning book, earning GOLD 3 Years in a row! For the past 5 years, the yearbooks have been recognized through the Jostens Yearbook Program of Excellence. 2022 - Bronze; 2023- Silver; 2024, 2025, 2026 - Gold

Congratulations to Heritage students who competed at the DECA State Conference! DECA is a career and technical student organization preparing students as emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.

Our STCS Superintendent stopped by to conduct a little “swag quality control" at Heritage High School's school store. After reviewing the hoodies, hats, and gear, the recommendation for students was clear: stop by and show your Hawk pride!

It was a trait-tastic day in Mr. Springer's science! Students mastered Punnett squares while learning about dominant and recessive genes. Big thanks to our amazing guest teachers, Ms. Sherbeck and Mrs. Sporman, for sharing their “Sassy” and “TCB – Take Care of Business” traits!

Members of the Heritage Band & Choir (Bella, Sophie, and Zoe) shared their music with residents at Wellspring Senior Living Center recently. They performed solos, duets, and ensembles on flute, oboe, saxophone, piano, and voice!

Unified Pledge week around the district is a fun way to remind our students that inclusion isn’t just inviting someone to sit at your table, it's believing they belong there. It is a reminder to include everyone and to educate/bring awareness to a variety of abilities.

Our Nutrition Services team hosted the Annual STCS Food Show, where students got the chance to taste new foods and share their feedback on items that could appear on school menus next year! Student voice matters — and this event gives them a hands-on role in choosing meals!
