As some of you may know, we have a complete buyout of our 3 partner hotels. Alexis Park, Serene and Embassy Suites.
From Thursday to Monday, there will be a property-wide registration requirement in effect beyond the lobbies of the hotels.
You may see signs around that say, “Registration Required Beyond This Point.”
Do not be alarmed.
This rule is not meant to police anyone, its purpose is to keep potential ‘party crashers’ and ‘normies’ (or mundanes for the greymuzzles) out of our spaces.
If you see something out of the ordinary, or you suspect people are sneaking in who obviously don’t belong, let us know.
There will NOT be staff wandering around asking for your badge in the common areas. It is NOT the responsibility of our staff or the staff of our venues to police all attendees and ask for your badges while you’re simply walking around in the courtyard, it’s to keep everyone safe.
With that said, we’re doing something unusual compared to other cons by keeping registration open until 2am on Friday morning. (Thursday into Friday at 2am).
If you work during the day and get off late, if you have a late flight or want to pick up a badge after GROWL, you can! Reg will still be open for you.
We want everyone to stay safe and have a good time. Party responsibly, enjoy the con.
For those who haven’t registered and historically ghost cons, I’d ask that you please don’t. Registering helps us do really cool stuff, and we have some BIG plans for the future. If you can’t afford it for whatever reason, let me know~
I’m always willing to help out where I can.
