Beaton had a choice to make here. Penalty Rangers or his family’s safety.
He’s looking right at it and he did what most would do in this situation and realised it wasn’t worth the hassle for him.
This is why his position as an offical in Scotlands top flight is untenable.

I think a draw was a fair result on Sunday given how the game panned out. But surely this is a penalty? I don’t know what justification there is for it not being. I also don’t know what foul John Beaton has seen to give Celtic a free kick.
