Considering our boycott. ✨ I’ve been seeing some people getting antsy again, so here goes my stance. We can encourage, advise and advocate to not do certain things. Anything other than that? Is beyond our control. The boycott regarding the game by not logging in and spending any money? I stand by that. I do think it is needed to show our disappointment not only regarding Valko’s cancellation but the state of the game itself. I am aware though that others see it differently, don’t want to get too involved or just don’t care. Me personally? I don’t care what you do. I don’t need an elaborate explanation as to why you still play. That’s your thing. Do I appreciate those that are boycotting? Without a doubt. I am thankful to know that there are many others like me. ♡ But cussing and shaming others for not doing what we are doing, won’t suddenly change their opinion either. I know it can be frustrating and disheartening to see. Seeing it as a “I try so hard and they are just giving in.” I have to point out that not everything is just black and white. There are people actively advocating here and helping out with donations but still playing. Or others just playing for dailies and stop spending. Others are waiting for their Aurum Pass to finish up and then leave. For me, that still counts for something. Nevertheless it is not our job to make sure everyone keeps on boycotting. We will keep on informing, we can keep on giving advice and at the end of the day, everyone chooses for themselves. My position is clear: I am boycotting the game. I am not logging in. I am not spending any money. I ignored my Aurum Pass, because I decided to. When they bring Valko back, I feel like I would still think twice before I would spend money on this game again. Right now, I don’t see how going against each other helps anyone. Even the situation next week; I can recognise that the Rafayel Myth means a lot to the 🐟 girlies but also knowing that it could tell Infold the stance many take. I hope I didn’t overstep with this. Our focus should stay with Valko. Let’s continue to spread love and kindness. And if you read this far, here you go.
