I respect Governor Beshear's decision to require the wear of face masks in public. This is a common sense decision which will protect the public and our economy. I call on the legislature to lend their authority in this effort to protect the people of the Commonwealth.

Meade Co. R.E.C.C. has a power outage just outside Hardinsburg along Highway 259 north. About 110 customers are without power. Crews are working to restore power. The R.E.C.C. has a planned repair in the Cloverport area this afternoon that could result in a brief outage there.
