45 Club is back! January 21st 7pm we will have our first walk of 2025. Location TBC. Everyone is welcome😊 We aim to meet twice a month, to encourage being in nature, moving, and talking. All things that boost mental wellbeing. Our full 2025 calendar will be released soon 🗓️

We loved visiting the st johns ambulance youth team last night. They embraced the activities with enthusiasm. Great discussions about mental health @WhyTalkingFixes

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the quiz tonight☹️ Due to the remote location, the road to the venue has iced over and would be dangerous to drive on. The safety of our supporters and volunteers is our priority. We are looking to reschedule so keep an eye out for a new date!

Our next 45 Club walk is on 6th Dec 7pm. We will meet in the Heanor car park for Shipley Park. We can still enjoy the outdoors. In fact, it’s especially important in the times that can be more difficult!❄️ We are working on a new 45 Club calendar for 2025 so keep an eye out🗓️👀

We spent the day at Bird&Blend Nottingham again last weekend. It’s always a pleasure and we always have some really worthwhile conversations. We are this year’s ChariTEA, which means 50% of profits made from their ‘Candy Floss at the Fair’ flavoured tea are donated to us 😊🍃

For many, ‘spooky season’ is all year round when it comes to our mental health. The uncertainty of when the bad days will creep up can feel very scary. We can’t prevent them, but we can prepare for them and take back some control. Remember that the bad days don’t last forever💚

It’s World Mental Health day and we’re at CAMHS Derby sharing all the good stuff that is on offer to young people and those who care about them. Talking might not fix whatever you’re going through but it can be the start of recovery and your journey to wellness.
