So the Home Secretary pushed for more security for Taylor Swift days after she was a guest of Universal Music at a Swift gig. And we didn’t know until tonight There is some frustration in the home office that the Parliamentary standards office said the tickets couldn’t be declared because they were below £300 - each ticket £170 Ed Balls took 4 tickets - and Cooper was his guest

While prepping to interview Boris Johnson tomorrow, by mistake I sent our briefing notes to him in a message meant for my team. That obviously means it’s not right for the interview to go ahead. It’s very frustrating, and there’s no point pretending it’s anything other than embarrassing and disappointing, as there are plenty of important questions to be asked. But red faces aside, honesty is the best policy. See you on Sunday.

This young man will not come out of prison a ‘better’ person….he was working, he had no previous convictions and now he’s got a custodial prison history. I hope his employers return him to his position and he can continue to contribute to society. A court that makes an example of such an individual is doing just that….not operating in a fair way, but as a threat to the rest of the British people, wherever you live, whatever your religion, or race! That should disturb every one of us. This young man could have been punished with a totally different approach with far superior results for society as a whole. Meanwhile if you’re a child molester expect a stern telling off by the Judge who allows you to walk free!
