UK maternity leave be like… Here is 6 weeks of SMP at 90% of your salary Here is another 33 weeks of £172 a week… which is basically 30% of your salary. Here is another 13 weeks without pay Yay!!!! you can take one year to care for your baby we have the best maternity leave policy in the whole world

@traceybenntt @tomisin_ms It’s the term after 9 months - example of your child is 9m end of May they’ll get their partial funding in September. But if we want to get paid we need to return to work at 9m and it doesn’t quite work out at free sadly at least until they’re 2 and that’s specific nurseries.

@sheldonlv30 @movie_tvshows_ If you’re a true Harry Potter Fan, we all know the backstory very well and we all know it’s not that. Children get bullied for looking different by their own race peers so we are aware it won’t be that.

@WiseClef @movie_tvshows_ They could, but they specifically changed the one guy who is known for having relentlessly been bullied as a kid for being different (a half blood). Can you not see how it could be a really bad idea to change just that one specific character?

@jaybee2801 @BBCNews Each time I go for a walk or go to the park whatever area I’m in we cross paths with people who are clearly mentally unwell. I’m not sure what’s happening but there’s so many people are unwell it’s scary.

@WiseClef @BBCNews Why? If they’ve got a garden they can play outside, we were outside all weathers in the fresh air. Make time to take kids to the local park if there is one.

@jaybee2801 @BBCNews If they have a garden , if the have a local park that’s not infested with drug utensils. Sadly it’s a lot different to back then. I grew up on the streets now there’s way too many weirdos and people who are not mentally sound.
