Ramparts feels almost like a reversal of Polar Opposites. Characters in Ramparts of Ice struggle with opening up and being honest to each other and themselves, so going from Polar Opposites to Ramparts is pretty refreshing, like iced naengmyeon after kbbq

I loved Polar Opposites a lot when it started (obviously only finishing it recently), but it's actually crazy how The Ramparts of Ice, with its heavy focus on interpersonal communication breakdowns and messier relationships appealed to me so much more.
