So the bad side of the VTuber community found this post and has been making such a big deal about it. I’ve seen this post screenshotted and talked about multiple times now, and most of them are, surprise, calling me the r-slur and other derogatory names. Way to further prove my point lmao. The VTuber space is supposed to be a kind and welcoming place where we support each other. It’s also a very art focused community, considering artists are the backbone of this community. Without artists, VTubers wouldn’t exist. AI art is not, and will never be, real art. Real artists work hard on their creations, spending hours, days, and even months working on things for VTubers. They put actual life into creations. AI art, on the other hand, is soulless. It’s literally artificial. My personal belief is that AI art has no place here in the VTuber community, and if you believe otherwise, please block me. My stance on this will not change, and I’m not going to sit in my comments for hours arguing with people who are trying to change my point of view. Along with that, these people who openly say slurs like they’re just a regular word should also not be allowed in this community. It’s disrespectful and offensive and there’s really no space for that type of negativity. I will always support real artists, and I hope you guys do the same. Much love. 🩵
