A 26-year-old newlywed woman allegedly ended her life in Maharashtra’s Ambernath just around one-and-a-half months after her marriage. The victim's family has accused her husband and in-laws of sustained dowry harassment, physical abuse and constant CCTV surveillance tracking her daily activities that possibly pushed her to the brink. Police have arrested her husband Nitin Tilkar, his mother and brother, and launched an investigation into the case.
