I decided to go back to that area in Lagos where I did the first video to show more of the environment since a lot of those APC supporters are denying that it's not Lagos.
I don't know why they are ashamed of where they dwell.
Is it that you people know you live I despicable areas while supporting bad governance?
This area is an eyesore. Even pigs aren't supposed to habitat here.

There's this guy on X who uses his business page to constantly mock Igbo people. Every other day it's: "Southeast is not developed." "Igbo people are backward." "Peter Obi will never be President." Funny enough, I needed a service he offered, so I decided to patronize him. When I got to his area in Lagos, I was shocked. The houses there are all dilaptidated. The roads looked irritating. No drainages and dirts were everywhere. The entire place was an eyesore and looked nothing like the superiority he preached online. I just stood there wondering, how do some people spend so much time looking down on others when they haven't looked around their own surroundings?

My wife and I rarely fight.
A few weeks ago, she spent the entire day taking care of our kids, helping neighborhood kids, cleaning the house, doing laundry, making food, and dealing with a snow day while I worked from home.
By evening she was exhausted.
She walked up to me and said:
"Can I go lay down for a bit?"
Instead of simply saying yes, I made a face and said:
"I haven't even gone to the bathroom all day and I still have cookies in the oven."
The look on her face told me immediately that I had messed up.
She got upset.
I told her to go take a break, but by then the damage was done.
We argued.
The next day she explained how hurt she felt.
I still didn't fully get it.
Then she said something that stuck with me:
"If I didn't manage and ask you for help, you'd see the kids a quarter as much as you do now. And I'm done managing you."
I thought she was overreacting.
Then she stopped asking.
No reminders.
No requests.
No scheduling.
No asking me to pick the kids up.
No asking me to help with bedtime.
Nothing.
She started doing everything herself.
When I tried to help, she'd calmly say she already had it handled.
During one of our arguments, I said something incredibly stupid:
"I'd like to see how long you can manage without me."
Turns out she can.
Now I come home every day to a spotless house, healthy meals, happy kids, and a wife who no longer needs anything from me.
For the first time, I'm realizing she wasn't asking for help because she couldn't do it alone.
She was asking because she wanted me involved.
And now she doesn't.
Did I break my marriage over one careless comment?
