We even enjoyed a little family quiz at the end to celebrate our work from over the year!

Some pictures from our wonderful showcase to the Year 2 parents yesterday! We are so proud of how confident all the children were speaking to grown ups about their learning from over the Year!

We can’t forget the fun parachute games, long walk back to the top and some very tired children on the way home! What a fun day we had!😊

We loved pond dipping - we even found the largest leech the ranger had ever seen in the pond!

We had a lovely time looking at the features of Thurstaston coastline - oh and building sandcastles was quite fun too! We’re so glad the the rain held off!🏝️☀️

What a fun afternoon we had for our sports day! We’re glad the sun appeared so we could enjoy lots of different races!☀️🏅

We loved learning about how plants grow, especially planting our own sunflower seeds! We hope they’ll grow as tall as us!🌻🌱

@ArtBedfordDriv1 We did some research last week about an artist called Rita Greer. We also focussed on her use of colour and experimented with chalk and pastels to create flames in our sketchbooks.

@ArtBedfordDriv1 We are looking at artwork linked to the Great fire of London. Today we enjoyed using different mediums to draw and sketch the buildings.

We are really enjoying looking after our plants and vegetables in the garden. In science we have learnt how to grow successfully, and now we are putting it into practice! @BedfordScience1 @EcoBedfordDriv1

Today we celebrated VE Day in our Red, White and Blue and with our tasty picnic! We learnt about why the day is so important and what it is really about!

Today we used the Beebots to look at how important the order is when giving instructions! We loved seeing where they would end up!

Last week, we had a special visitor who came to talk to us about The Great Fire of London. We loved learning about new facts, Primary and Secondary sources and seeing examples of these sources like Samuel Pepys’ diary, a water squirt and artwork from after 1666.

We loved our tennis coaching session last week, we learnt lots of new skills!
