You can’t beat fall in the Sierra Nevadas.

While cleaning up around the shop today; I learned that my irrigation com wire was “buried” two inches deep right below the area that sand and gravel are kept. Not sure how I was the first person to accidentally “locate” the wire 🤷‍♂️ Luckily everything still communicates!

Excited to announce that I start the next journey in my career on Monday. I have accepted the the superintendent position at Genoa Lakes and the Ranch at Genoa. I’ll certainly miss all the wonderful people and views at Montreux.

I’m now part of the #elite group of Superintendents that have rolled a ty-crop. Does this mean I’ve made it?

Keeping busy while the weather keeps us from starting aeration. We stripped and leveled the driving range tees and will be ready for sod on Friday.
