@Bjork4president @yellowcrustyrat No I agree 100%. I actually didn’t understand people saying it sounds the same because I think the different sounds on the album makes it feel cinematic. It’s just something I see a lot about people say about the album.

@ZMPDeception @yellowcrustyrat I thought preacher’s daughter was still pretty diverse sonically though. Like yeah there’s a lot of slow southern gothic ballads on there but there was also American teenager, ptolemaea, august underground, and televangelism!

Do albums need to be cohesive? Narratively yes but sonically not necessarily. let’s wake that tea up
