Kinda wild that less than a year ago you still had people saying “autonomous cars are still a decade out”… and now I drive by autonomous taxis every day in Austin.

Here's what I'm looking for: 1️⃣ A truly unique place 2️⃣ October 26th, and 27th 3️⃣ 6pm-midnight on both days 4️⃣ Must be able to fit 150 people 5️⃣ Would like indoor + outdoor options And to add a little bit more zest to my request.....🍋 If the event rocks, I'd like to do the same thing in November as well! Writer’s block is optional

I'm hosting a writing club this Saturday at 10am in Austin. Usually 20-25 people show up, we grab some coffee, make friends, and spend about an hour writing... But to be honest, you can do whatever kind of dedicated creative work you want to. • Some people write songs, other people write poetry. • Some people doodle, and other people read. It all works. So if you wanna meet some of my favorite people in Austin this Saturday ...you know what to do 🤠

@nateliason Dude, that and literally any use of block quotes. Oh my goodness they should be illegal.

I’m often reading an article and it’s making an excellent point but then the author slides in a quotation from someone and it almost always makes the article worse. It feels like you’re supporting your argument, but it makes you look less confident.

@AustinNxPodcast I’ve found that when you have your first coffee makes a huge difference. Push it back at last an hour/hour and a half after you wake up. Also have your last coffee before noon. Just the timing of those two things have really helped me.

Help me fix this. I continually get tired during the day. Getting a better night's sleep is the simple & right answer, but I have young kids & they aren't following the plan. Not 25, so no natural source of endless energy. Coffee seems to be losing its potency. Any ideas?
