Failure to follow directions by cabin crew on a flight is grounds to eject him from the flight. No ifs or buts. If he's not happy, take it up with the airline later. If he paid a premium for the seat he can probably get a refund and perhaps compensation, but he still has to obey the direction while he's on the flight.

Be very honest , was his action justified or very unnecessary ? The demand was for him to move to the next seat back so that the couple would sit together on the plane ?
