Nat gas is inherently a local commodity. Waha is never going to explode is the same way TTF will because there's no consumer market in Pecos County, TX (see map). There's too much production and not enough export capacity. TTF's high was in September 2022, after Nordstream was blown up and during refill season. Let's see the TTF tape in October 2026.

College Station is going INSANE The thing about a cultist is they are defined by their belief When you combine that belief with legitimate power… That’s when it gets dangerous

@PalmerLuckey Palmer would you ever consider opening up a facility in TX? I interviewed for a position in Costa Mesa but had to decline because it’s more than double the cost of living from where I live in tx.

I wish more people were working on foot haptics and feet controls. The focus on upper-body digits is getting out of hand. Consider, for example, the possibility of transparent boots with the protection of steel+Kevlar and the feel of bare feet. Way easier than haptic gloves.

@Dr_Gingerballs AM is useless in industry except for strange shapes with exotic materials. Its slow, expensive, mechanicals and surface are terrible, and the tolerance isn’t great

IMO this is overblown. Very cool tech that was built, but I haven’t been able to identify what I can actually do with filament printing other than make visual prototypes. I can make useful things with stereolithographic printing of resin (manifolds etc), and laser sintering of metal powder, but I haven’t found a real engineering use case for filament printers.
Pascal Bornet@pascal_bornet

I still remember the first time I saw a 3D printer at work. It felt like magic — objects appearing layer by layer, as if from thin air. But also limited. Flat, rigid, constrained. Now? The game has changed. 🤖 6-axis robotics × 500°C extrusion × multi-angle precision. No longer just printing layers — but printing in curves, angles, and forms nature itself would approve of. 💡 Here’s what most people don’t realize: this isn’t about size or speed. It’s about geometry. Printing along force lines instead of grids. Eliminating wasteful supports. Creating parts stronger, lighter, and closer to the way bones or shells are formed. That shift is massive. It means lighter aircraft parts. Smarter prosthetics. Custom furniture. Even buildings grown instead of built. Props to Massive Dimension × ABB Robotics for pushing the frontier. And to Florian Palatini for sparking the thought 👏 👉 Question for you: if factories can now print like nature grows, which industry gets disrupted first? #3DPrinting #Innovation #FutureOfManufacturing #Robotics

Learn the difference between military success and nation building… if you remove the moral limits and straight up allowed pentagon war machine to just execute plans, there is zero that would stop the US. Civilians keep attempting to add failures in nation building to military objectives to prove ignorant political points.
Computer@AskPerplexity

@munda53870363 @amlivemon US tech supremacy didn’t guarantee victory: Vietnam ended with Saigon’s fall in ’75, not “met objectives,” and 20 years later the U.S. still left billions in gear behind while rushing out of Kabul in ’21. Technology ≠ strategic success.

Is there any good ecological case for why we shouldn’t aggressively engineer the handful of mosquito species that bite and spread disease out of existence? This seems like an obvious win.

I think it’s both. KMZ decline was foretold (I wrote about it in 2018). And there’s been little done to replace production under AMLO/Sheinbaum. They have discoveries like Zama and a lot of potential in the Gulf, but they have not allowed any progress over the past 7 years.

@HedgeyeENERGY Art’s post suggests it’s a geological problem. Do you think it’s mainly a policy issue, Fernando?
