I wasn’t going to say anything, but staying silent isn’t an option after what happened to Tuskegee head men’s coach @benjytuskegee. What he was subjected to in front of his family, players, staff, and fans was completely unacceptable and disgraceful. Watching it unfold made me sick to my stomach. No coach should ever have to beg law enforcement to do their job — especially something as basic as keeping the opposing team’s football players out of a basketball handshake line. Instead of handling the situation, the officer chose to escalate it and embarrass the university on a public stage. I hope swift and serious action is taken against that officer for his conduct and the unnecessary negative attention he brought to both Tuskegee University and Morehouse College.

If you want to play college basketball, you can’t step on the court with no effort or energy. No college is recruiting players who don’t compete. That lack of effort is disrespectful to the game, your family, and everyone who believes in you.
