@Tommuwu I play 1-1.5 hours to get a sense of how it performs on my console/pc and if I enjoy it. If I can't run it or I don't like it, I can always easily refund the game

@FerroFlui @pipipen_en I also am the opposite with updates, but not to an egregious degree. I mainly ask for an update a week if I've been told they've started. I don't mind getting more updates, though I'm a huge fan of that

@FerroFlui @pipipen_en The longest I've ever done was 2 months for a full payment, but that was part of full model commission. 6+ is actually insane and frankly kinda disrespectful.

It's some sort of internet thing that money just disappears into. I heard you can write a formal request to the government to get your money back, and for whatever reason, you make a more convincing argument with a marriage license or children. Taxes are weird.

@Tommuwu And I understand that perspective as well, I'm not happy about Sandfall's use of AI, even for filler images, they get one pass because of those circumstances. But now every company is mimicking that response, so I have to be more cynical about this sort of thing unfortunately.

I get what you're saying but they said ai was never used in character designs anyway.
Granted they COULD be lying. But in an era where we are moving towards heavier usage of GEN AI from big companies, I won't condemn them for trying to rectify it
Should it have happened in the first place? No. But I'd rather see these companies address it than ignore it.

@Tommuwu I was never really intrigued by it all that much even from the early looks in 2022 but feel bad for those who got into it.

@Tommuwu I personally don't think this matters, it's really just backtracking. A game built with Gen AI character designs can't really walk that back, it's foundational to the game itself.

@Turpix_00 I played the beta, but just like "No Mai, No Buy": No Vyce, Not worth the price. Also just learned they layed off half the staff ~2 months ago so yeah...
