@undeadpinko @die_rizzen Sometimes for me it clicks sometimes it doesn't and you kind of have to retroactively piece some parts together to get some of it. I would recommend The Encyclopedia of Philosophical Sciences as a good middle ground for understanding Hegel the best imo.

@die_rizzen I have a degree in philosophy and I did very well and really enjoyed it. The only time I struggled was a class where we had to read a *lot* of Hegel directly, it never clicked I still can't read the primary sources, at least not the way I can fly through everything else

@Jonas_Ceika Some of if not the most cheapest food options are pretty much already vegan and meat is only somewhat cheap in countries (esp first world ones) is due to massive government subsidies. I survive off beans, tofu, rice and a whole lot more which is so cheap.

@_ItsEternal Finals is a great game... problem is if you've played a ton of BR's games that are 3v3, 5v5, etc with small maps feel super repetitive. BR people crave the extreme variability of every match, zone pull, crazy situations, etc.

It's wild the different strategies BR games use to attract players.
Fortnite - will literally give you 90% bot lobbies even after thousands of hours of playtime. (attracts more children who need instant gratification)
Apex Legends - immediately throws you in the fire.. brand new account puts you against predator lvl players (attracts adults who enjoy the grind & want to min/max everything to get better)
Warzone - does everything possible to force it's players uninstall the game 🤣... game is 300 gigs, cheaters, pay to win loadouts, etc.

The reason I am so pro-US is very simple. The alternative to America is Chinese hegemony over Australia and they would just kill me. The CCP already marked me for death due to my protests when I was younger. The Australian Federal Police were forced to make police raids against CCP agents working in Australia to find my address and violently harm me - they confirmed this to the Australian Senate during Estimates. The alternative to the US would kill me in my own home. That’s why I’m pro-America. There’s no conspiracy, there’s no hidden agenda. It’s just friend-enemy distinction. The Chinese are very open about their use of the friend-enemy distinction. The Chinese Ambassador to Sweden said “we have fine wine for our friends and shotguns for our enemies.” So I am just choosing basic self-preservation. When I was 19 I found out a Zionist had made a list of every American he could find who had criticized Israel. There were tens of thousands of people on the list w/ reasons given for why they deserved to be labeled an enemy target. I was shocked to find my dad on the list because he had signed an anti-war petition. It is laughable to suggest my father is an anti-semite, but he is strongly anti-war.
I, being 19 & extraordinarily naive, contacted the maker of the list to explain this was about war, not anti-semitism, and asked him to take down such a dangerous "enemies" list. He responded cheerfully that I was obviously also an "enemy of Israel" because I was opposed to making "enemy lists" and so he added my name to it and wished death upon me.
The next 20 years taught me that wasn't a fringe character - that is contemporary media & political policy. The deliberate mixing of criticism of Israel with antisemitism is the actual revolting bad-faith practice and has no place in a polite, free, or (dare we hope one day) loving society.
